Newly-promoted Motsepe Foundation Championship side Hope FC have announced former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Selwyn Stevens as their first signing ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Cape Town outfit has wasted little time strengthening its squad following a successful National Play-Off campaign in Mthatha, where they secured promotion to South Africa’s second tier.
Juju Joins Hope FC
Stevens, affectionately known as “Juju”, arrives with a growing reputation after progressing through the Mamelodi Sundowns development structures. The talented midfielder has also attracted international interest and previously underwent a trial with French club AS Saint-Étienne..
