As reported by the Kaizer Chiefs website, Marketing Director Jessica Motaung said the club aimed to produce designs that reflect the team’s ambitions and identity for the new season.
“Like we have done over the past three seasons, we have worked hard to come up with glamorous and stylish designs that manifest the spirit of our mantra for the season, ‘The Kingdom Rises’, intended to make our players and supporters stand out and be noticed, whether at the stadium or elsewhere. The away jersey roars with pride and is one very strong jersey. We thank Kappa again for their partnership and look forward to another season of success on and off the field,” said Motaung.
The new kits continue the successful partnership between Kaizer Chiefs and Kappa, blending the club’s rich heritage with modern design while also being manufactured from recycled materials. For the first time, both the home and away jerseys will be available in limited long-sleeve versions, while the home jersey will also be offered in a tailored women’s fit.
Official in-store release begins Friday, 24 July at selected retailers including Totalsports, Studio88, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Mike’s Sport and others, with a recommended retail price of R1399 for the short-sleeve replica and R1599 for the long-sleeve option. The entire season’s range will also be available online at www.kcdigistore.com, the Kaizer Chiefs store at the Village and all Kappa stores.
