Kaizer Chiefs will depart for Pinatar Arena in Spain, where they will hold their pre-season camp from 10 to 19 July ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
It marks Amakhosi’s first-ever pre-season tour in Spain, with the club set to face Saudi Arabian side Al Kholood and Spanish outfit Elche CF as preparations intensify.
The tour also ushers in a new era under a revamped technical team led by Fernando Da Cruz, who will use the camp to implement his ideas and assess the squad ahead of the new season.
There has also been movement on the coaching front, with former co-coaches Khalil Ben Youssef joining Durban City, while Cedric Kaze has taken over as head coach of Sekhukhune United.
For Chiefs, the trip offers more than just friendly matches—it is an opportunity to build momentum, strengthen team chemistry and lay the foundation for what supporters hope will be a successful season under new leadership.
